Wednesday, February 14, 2024 – Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has taken a personal shot at competitor business Apple's latest headgear after the Vision Pro made news when celebrities like Diplo and T-Pain used it in public, with the "passthrough" function enabling users to view their surroundings while using it.

However, in a video made utilizing the Meta Quest 3's own passthrough, Zuckerberg asserted that his company's headgear is "the best product, period".

Zuckerberg spent most of the video emphasizing why the Quest 3 was superior, citing factors like the freedom to walk about freely without a cable and socializing.

Zuckerberg acknowledged that Vision Pro offered certain benefits, namely a greater resolution, but he was "surprised by how many trade-offs they had to make" in other areas to obtain them. He also commended the eye-tracking capability of Apple's headgear, which is not available on the Quest 3.
